Christopher Walker, DDS, MS, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati before attending the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Walker was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award from the American Academy of Periodontology, the Certificate of Merit from the American Academy of Oral Medicine, and the Student Award of Merit from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry upon graduation from dental school.
Dr. Walker completed his three years of specialty training in Periodontics and received his Master’s degree in Dental Science from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He has specialty training in dental implants, periodontal plastic surgery, advanced bone grafting, and periodontal disease treatment. Dr. Walker holds certification for IV and oral sedation, as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Dr. Walker conducted clinical research relating to bone grafting and dental implants during his residency for completion of his Master’s degree, which has been published in the Journal of Periodontology.
Dr. Walker’s wife, Kati, is a practicing dentist in San Antonio who works at a dental Medicaid practice that predominantly treats children. In their free time, he and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time with their two children.
